Residential design for contemporary Las Campanas home by Robert Zachry, AIA. Large spaces necessary for emergency and utility access were framed with a reflective oiled black steel retaining wall that simultaneously divides and protects unmanicured native meadow species. A similar native meadow composition is brought into foreground view outside of Kitchen and Dining Room requiring very little maintenance.
